Bridges and piers

1. Bridges
HnH really miss the bridge building system. Making us able to build those will boost trade, and, also will be very useful while managing village, which has buildings on both side of river. Also, it is very convinent, because , for example, when I'm going for hebs and curio, I can't bring the boat with me. With bridges implemented, I will be able to prevent those situations by constructing birdges at the pleces where my usual foraging route crosses the river.

There should be a skill, called Bridge building, not very expensive, though.

Bridges should be buildable in manner of walls. Youre placing first segment at the coast. Then you press expand and decide the direction where to build. Notice that bridges could not have 90 degrees turns, they can only been straight. Boats should be able to pass under bridges. You can only build bridge while being in water, that means you will need boat to build one.

There also shold be bridge supports, just like mine supports, bridge segments beyond radius of support can not be placed.

There should be three types of supports - wooden support, with little effective radius, metal strengthened wooden ones with large radius, and stone ones. Also only strengthened and stone supports can support big bridges.

Wooden bridges and supports is going to decay over time, so be careful while passing decayed bridges - it can collapse!

There also should be a differentiation in bridge types.
Narrow bridge , 1 tile wide, passable by hearthling. Can not be supported by stone suppots.
Wide bridge , 3 tiles wide , passable by wagons. Can not be supported by stone suppots.
Stone bridge - 5 tiles wide, passable by wagons and not decayng over time. Notice thet those bridges can only be supported by stone supports!

2. Piers.

Should help in softening the boat stealing problem.

Pier should look like 1x5 building, built on water surface.
They should wore as little claim, wich affect only boats though.
The reason of why those should be implemented - is that it can be not very conviniet for noobie, or even more experienced players to construct special claim, covering river bank to keep the boats at its place. If this concept will be implemented, boat stealing ratio will reduce, as 80% of boats will be claimed and tking one from pier will result in a scent, so in risk to the life of perpetator. Notice that if you leave your boat on the pier - it will be considered yours in any case, event the pier is covered by claim, so taking it will not result in scent. Just like in case of vending\barter stands.

Excuse my English, please ;)

actaully the pier dosent sound so bad tbh.
i think with a bit of work it could go well. bridges however have been suggested all time. and for reasons cant remember, dont work.

i think instead of bridges there should just be stretches of shallow water that could go right across the river so boats and people can cross. although it shouldnt be common.

+1 to pier. -1 on bridges

Why?

Because boats wouldn't be able to pass through them with current game mechanics. Also, page 5:

Okay, I've got the point.
What 'bout that topic on page five, yep, I admit my fault.
However, piers is still would be awesome.
