Curio spawn.

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Curio spawn.

Postby Samu » Fri Aug 09, 2013 11:29 am

Well I was thinking. Again. And came up with this idea.

Developers could change curio spawn specifications that curio wouldn't spawn on owned land and v-claimed land - it will prevent swamps and mountains, lakes from being claimed.

Sorry for short text but I hope I told it quite properly. And I hope to hear voice of devs :)

Or people will grief it this way. Which's much worse.

I personally would be rather pissed if this got in.

Neither they or you will have curio.

Can't you see the problem here? If someone lives too far away from let's say a swamp q70 to forage there every day and someone else lives next to it, the first person can bully the second one by bringing an alt and claim that swamp of his (with a vclaim even, if he hates him enough).

Sure... And now person who lives near swamp has LP advantage and biulds claim on it, then other one leaves scents, swamp "owner" finds his home and kills him because he has enough LP for UA and Murder also keeping all curio.

Well yes, it's technically his swamp if he claimed it first. This game is a race mate, whoever's first wins.

You don't leave scents foraging anyway, except for the trespassing scent to enter the land.

I'm against giant ass claims that cover empty land, but this is a stupid idea that wouldn't help anything and just exacerbate the problem of mass claims.

Why would they ever do this?
