the game should have more ways to get lp.
also the game is god but been better when you didnt have to spend forever studying stuff to just lose all that effort some time later.

Just to be the first asshat with a terrible idea to get it out of the way how about a craftable made out of a massive amount of rare things that takes a long time to "cook/ferment" that gives a large amount of points but you need to be able to survive the resultant 1000HHP hit from drinking it? :roll:

I think there should be more low weight, low duration, crappy LP early curios. Things like horrible knot, shouldn't be such long duration as early on players should have more curio options that they can see, and benefit from, the progression of while they play. There is a major wall of progression for new players in this game once discovery LP (which is a half-assed mechanic anyway) starts to dry up, but they aren't in a spot to forage or craft many curios to compensate for that. Add to that, the problem with a lot of relatively expensive skills that newbies might buy that are functionally worthless to them at that point but they'd be completely unaware of their spending mistake. Makes a bad time all around unless you're a veteran of the game and familiar with the progression.

Well, since the Op never answered my question i'm gonna assume he;s totally knew and hasn;t quite grokked the switch between gaining LP from discpovery to using Curios and/or just doesn;t realize how many curios there are.

That's the idea. OH OH I KNOW! Let's also bring back hunting LP for ants only! Surely you all want to grind 20lp a punch for hours upon hours on end! Think of all the nothing you can get done!
