Please give me an example of an "action queue" that wouldn't merely be considered an exploit to the current system? Sure I'd like a 'harvest all" button that harvested every tile of my field until my inventory is full, but that's not the way the game works. An "action queue" is just a way for lazy people to continue to be lazy.

If you cannot tell the difference between automation and giving your character orders in advance, well...!

Giving your character orders in advance IS automation.

Also you've still yet to give me a good example of this in practice in the game.

No need to seeing as you are a blatant threadshitter undeserving of a reply, but I will anyways since it is so fucking obvious:

"Waypoints" means absolutely nothing without in game context.

There are plenty examples of this sort of "automation" already in game: any action that your character performs repeatedly until some other condition ends it the action repetition would be "automation". Two spring immediately to mind - mining (until stamina is too low) and fishing (until gear/bait is used/lost/broken) - but I'm sure there are plenty of others. And don't overlook "Craft All": again, "automation", even if not immediately obvious as the same sort of thing.

I like the idea of a limited-count action queue - perhaps holding down shift while left-clicking an activity would add it to the action queue, up to 1<N<10 actions.

and now time for explaining basic, widely-used gaming terms: http://www.giantbomb.com/waypoint/92-4942/

That's all well and good but waypoints currently aren't implemented in H&H at all. Perhaps you'd like to explain how you'd implement waypoints into the current game system as opposed to simply saying "THERE SHOULD BE WAYPOINTS" without giving any other sort of contribution.

Perhaps you'd like to stop blatantly trolling before you get sent to Hel?

I'm not trolling. I'm not even against the idea of task automation in the game.

All I'm asking is that you provide me a specific example of how one would use a "action queue" in the game Haven & Hearth. You have yet to do that.

"Waypoints" has no meaning in the context of H&H without further explanation as to how you'd actually implement the concept.
