Sadly, this is true. The current scents system for some unknown reason favors evildoers.

In a way you could say the "Travel Weariness" is a cool-down but I suppose if you have a lot of wine on the ready...

What as opposed to a total lack of scents? What you mean is it's not adequate to prevent griefing. Given the higher population densities and little in the way or organized states able to impose order it is certainly the wild west out their right now I'll grant you that,. Also I think all that lethal animal attack stuff has just made life cheaper in most peoples eyes. Generally I think crime scenes should be harder to track but scents should be easier to use.

Something like this.

Currently it's people who can break palisades / camper rams 24/7 abusing people who can't do that.
