When did dryads enter this discussion? I can't find any posts from j&l using using 'dryad'.

Dryad is the current name for the forest-tree-creature you see walking around forests but can't attack. It is named such in the old-time-pics that were posted a couple days ago. Also, during the many chats me and kaka have had up in caketown we discussed them, and thats the name he referred to them by.

*shrugs* As far as i'm concerned i like the way haven's lore is currently going [see jorbs more recent posts of concepts and credes]. I don't think it really matters if it mimics germanic traditions perfectly, if its more icelandic or more saxon, i think it's only important to build up a germanic tribe feel, not a "real life norse history". Besides, J&L have stated they love the age of enlightenment, and that the goal is to go slowly from germanic tribe-ish to age-of-enlightenment level technology [and i would assume culture would naturally follow]

In that case, I still like the idea of Norns to help you decide what you are going to do in the early game. :P

I bet the tree of Yggdrasil would make an Awesome Log Cabin.
