@OP: You should understand that jorb and loftar have made it clear time and time again that this is their game. Nobodies ideas here, no matter how great they are, have any right to get implemented ever. You rarely ever see any idea from this forum getting into the game 1:1 (exception: Creamy Cock), so don't expect too much. They got their own ideas and views on how things should work. Just because we all think regional diversity is great doesn't mean they do and maybe you will never see it in the game for example. Especially the suggestion of specific items is or changes on a global scale are faineant, you better focus on simple game fixes like the ones you mention in your examples.

I did say it might be the wrong forum, and I'm sorry if it is.

I don't want you to think i saying to Jorb and Loftar that our ideas take precedent over theirs and if they don't like an idea or don't think it worth implementing then thats that, no argument. All I'm asking is are they going to have time or the inclination to skim over the ideas in this forum and if they LIKE an idea and think it will work well with the game implement it.

This game has been amazing so far and I'm not complaining about anything they have added. Its their game and its not like we are paying them to dev it so i'm sorry if i come off sounding like I'm telling them to use our ideas. Maybe as the previous guy suggested we have a mod sticky a post with the best of out ideas for the Devs to skim through at their leisure for anything they like.

I meant there is a special forum for good ideas, only visible to a limited number of players the devs chose to be in there.

It's true, though we're mostly discussing moderation there these days.

Anyway, like Burg said, very few ideas are implemented verbatim, but the devs do get quite a bit of inspiration from here. As for those old yet unimplemented fixes, such as autospeed after drop, that's mostly due to Loftar not liking working on interface, like most indie developers. Luckil, most of these problems can be solved with custom clients.

I hope this select group gets tapped for Salem, I've been a part of some very fruitfull interactions between developers and small groups of handpicked fans in the Civilization community. Interactions going all the way back as early as the pre-production phase which Salem seems to be in. I think its key that Salem adress and solve many of the outstanding issues with H&H most notibly the grinding if it is to be successful. If the devs have already hand picked people for a private forum then they have a ready group to pick from for any Salem testing group (NDA agreements are invariably required to partispate in these kinds of things).

I wouldn't be surprised if its already happening.

this; there have also been [many] cases where devs agree the idea is good and sound but simply dont have the time to implement it.

hence some of these threads being two years old
