karma indicator exists in the UI. perhaps it was planned but not implemented.

Would this just be so you can tell if someone you come across is likely to murder you or try to rob your house, or could there be another benefit, like if you have a relatively clean history, in the rare instances where you do commit crimes, your scents are harder to detect/fade faster?

Rangers can pick up more scents

WTH? This was proposed not a long time ago and everyone agreed it was a bad idea cuz not all acts are black and white! What if you kill someone who just murdered your friends and raided your village? Should you turn black then too?

What changed that suddenly everyone thinks ppl turning black is a good idea?

I don't think it should change the scents, but I suppose it could be nice.

If it does change scents it should be nothing Ranger v Criminal like, it should simply be "You left scents? Nigga you dirty", whether you were 'avenging' someone or not.

The limit on how many scents you can hold if there are too many in one spot are a right bitch (Wat's even up with that)

Alternatively to this whole thing make people 'Sooty' if they've been in the mines or have been mining a lot recently. :)

Should be some debuff to it, but you can clean yourself in the water, if you got some soap (but how the hell do you make soap)

Also, I agree that the scent system must remain free of moral (good vs bad) and that the appreciation of each act should be left to each player entirely. But I trust the devs on this one.
