That's the idea and also have it so any black skill except tricks and ruses requires rage and people on your claim you can attack them without rage to get them off your claim. So yea ponder on the ideas then shooting them down. :)
Edit: or atleast make a skill that makes it so players cant attack you :L

I can honestly say i hope there is never anything that stops new players from being attacked, and i highly doubt there ever will be judging by the "Dev's thoughts on pvp thread".

Who the fuck needs black skills to grief people? I'm going to wall you in with newbie hearthfires which you can't break because I didn't buy rage on any of my alts. Fuck it, that's too much work, I'll just have two alts running at all times to stand in front of your gates. I'll even set up a script so that if they get logged out by a server crash they'll instantly log back in. Enjoy being trapped inside forever.

Wanna fix that by making it so you need black skills to trespass over someones claim? I'll grief the ever loving shit out of every river ever and so will everyone else because we already do that to protect our curiosities but now it'll fuck newbies over too. Great.

Think you can teleport out? I'll just make useless alts to stand around blocking your crossroads too.

Haha, think that your quality resource node is worth something? I'll sit there with automated digging alts (Not that we don't already do this with vandalism alts) lowering your quality to q10 or less and you can't stop me without claiming the entire goddamn grid. I'll just stand there, calling you a retarded newbie and taunting you while I turn your q80 water into q10.

Oh and when you're out hunting, I'll just pick your kills up and take your boat. You can't aggro me and it's not theft so it's legit right? I mean, I'm just a helpless newbie!

The farmville players who whine the most about griefing probably don't really want to leave their farms anyway. :lol:

Wow. Just... wow. Such a sad state this person is in. And then threatens us with leaving. That's not a threat. That's a relief from horribad ideas such as this one.

Join a game and community to enjoy what it is. If the game and community don't fit your ideals, then you probably shouldn't be here in the first place. CCP has been chasing profits for the last eight years. That's why they went from a pure PvP game witha bit of PvE tacked on to a game where it's PvE with PvP only as a thought to enable better PvE. I salute SeaTribe for sticking by their guns. I hope they continue to do so with Salem and other future games they develop.

How long does it take for a new hearthling to starve to death? That would be the only issue I could see with making a wall out of newbies, is the occasional feeding of them. Of course you could just load them up with bread when you deploy them, but it's still a logistical issue with them.
