Hell, I wouldn't doubt it he plays MMO's where you buy "gold" for real money and just hasn't gotten off of that high yet.

Believe me, I have nothing against this. I played EQ2 for years and made pocket money off the Station Exchange as well as pay for my account. (I knew a couple of guys that even made a small living on it and only had to work part time.) I also play Entropia where game money has real cash value. If I can, I play for the profit. What I laugh at is doing this in a game that is in an alpha state and is known for it's issues with character loss and server resets.
