  Let alone it'd have to be less laggy to use an already existing channel than to out-source to IRC to use it. I mean, I could easily be wrong, but I somehow don't think I am. The mechanic is there, I'm just asking that you make it a little more accessable.
  Pacho's client is great, but the default client is too. It should still be able to function as a stand-alone and I would hope that plans are there for incorperating a global chat within the product. But wait, it's already there. Why not make it easier to get to?

It actually shows character names. It doesn't really matter with it being optional and unusable for memorization, and a global chat with ??? is a short, fast-paced and frustrating one.

Imho global ingame chat breaks the immersion of the game. I use a separate client for IRC and disable the IRC functionality within Pacho's client for this very reason.
