Reduxing LP gain does not stop grinding. Much on the contrary, actually...

... Buckets cost TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE's ... :P

Just grind yourself a shit load of Dowsing Rods ... Easy from the start and there "Tree" economical to boot.

General: Build yourself a little Dream Catcher farm plot ... And just take a shit load of Dreams with you when your taking a boat trip. Then find yourself a nice tree spot that still have some Branches and Boughs and Grind yourself a little additional LP boost.

... Might be nice to have some additional Tree Gfx for Branch and/or Bough depleted Tree's ...

That's silly. They go after whatever the easiest way to make LP is. If there was much easier access to mines(which.. in general, really. If you play the game for a good bit you're bound to find at least ONE mine.) everyone would be crowding around the mines trying to squeeze out all the LP.

People grind buckets mainly because there isn't any real "feasible" alternative. The next closest thing is to perhaps dig out and make treeplanter's pots. Farming isn't too bad if you also make the stuff you farm and that means the cooking of it, as well as the making of it with the loom and such. Still, un-matched to the LP gain of hunting(which people really shouldn't be able to do yet..XD.), and mining.

Hence why people went around hunting like mad-men and still some-what do. It's also why on my alt's I am probably going to spend week's at a time in a mine as it's really the easiest LP source far greater then any bucket-making or MOST anything else for that matter. I knew it was ridiculous.. but didn't realize it was THAT ridiculous.

I do somewhat agree with your logic, though. At least on the "nub" end of things where they're either too lazy to figure out an alternative and are a lot more desperate for LP, simply just a nub, or perhaps are maybe even a macroer.

There is an easier access, it's called "caves".

Shhh. Be quiet. All the nubs will swarm them.

Ok I don't think people understand why this aspect of grind/macro capability is bad. Yeah you get lots of LP after getting a high Q saw and raising carp a little, but the main problem is the LP is so good at some point that people will literally chop down a supergrids worth of trees over time..

That's not a good thing. Go ahead and grind some other shit constantly like digging but with this you are affecting the world negatively for EVERYONE, and the LP is so good that most people don't care.

Haha, they could also at least have the common decency to do it in terrible Q areas that no-one but nubs wants to live in.

Hell why don't we just nerf everything to 10 lp then everyone would have to macro forever to get anywhere.

While we're at it can we have a skill system where you do something you get better like walking and running that way i'd be the fastest person ever for all the mapping I do :D

It would have proven your point much better and also proven you really do understand how to fight people and not only how to slaughter helpless sheep.

You should probably stick to the complicated task of walking around while a program takes images of the world for you.

At least that way there can be one subject you're able to have a reasonable opinion on.
