As Bucket grinding has basically been destroyed of it's any sort of valuable LP(At least at low Carp levels with a crappy bonesaw..), you'll probably notice a drop in the actual bucket-making process. For the macro nubs, you'll probably notice a sharp increase due to more tree availability to chop down for buckets. Of course, I can't say for sure though as I am not totally 100% sure how much they cut down on the LP in relation to this.

Just like IRL people "go where the money is".

You get around 2k for a merchant robe and no one grinds on that because the resources are tedious. Adding string to buckets makes a practically limitless resource limited and thus ungrindable.

Old Fashion Buckets used in Medieval Era are not the "Pail" shape ones, they were simply wood handles, so maybe...

Having it cost 1 block of wood and 1 board will do, and increase the LP gain slightly so instead of say 50, it's 60.

Do you understand why the original suggestion was made?

I didn't really disagree with it, really. I was just saying that a reduction in LP gain for it is more then enough. Obviously adding string into the mix would help though as well, but I am not really sure it's necessarily needed. annnd. I don't know about everyone else, but I wanted to make a monstrous Silk-moth farm operation.
