Bots take time like everything else in this game. You can only earn a maximum number of LP a day based on several factors (even if you don't figure in the character's INT). Attributes are easier to bot than skills are, but you can still only get them so fast. Days is hardly even a close estimate.

Well if botting isn't going to be faster, then they will multiply the amount of bots to counter that.

Why bot 1~3 characters at a time when you can do 10?

In the chance that some dies in the process, you just add more and more bots to the list.

That's how they think, and how they adapt to these systems.

Why bother wasting time writing bots when you can just produce enough cheap curios from farming and mining to feed to a dozen characters at once? Therein you have the major problem with the current world. You can do 150k+ LP a day this way.
