terraforming shallow water... man i would love this, alot of cities would turn into 'venice', token moats, even if they somehow allows the making of deep water, you could counter it by allowing people to build bridge/jetty sections, easily destroyable, then mix it up with a brick version, you could close off rivers and lakes then and create closed nations

nearly makes one want to get back into C and dev something

I am pretty late on this but heres what i think, pond should have a limited size and if you add deep water add an option like fill pond and you can either fill it with sand of dirt

Bridges will never happen but this is hopefully possible

So I'm not exactly savvy on the engine re-write that loftar is doing but it may be possible to implement that once hes done that? Maybe? I don't really know, I'm talking out of my ass. It just strikes me that if the engine is being rewritten it becomes a possibility again.

Well, Loftar's favourite response has always been that "the engine doesn't support it" so I'd assume that if he were to do an overhaul he'd work on that
