Wooden Ladder

It requires:
-20 sticks
-4 blocks
-1 rope/boneglue (the boneglue is used on wooden items, am I right?)

aah I see somebody else had my idea too. I think the stairs should be possible to be carved out of the cliffs. Oh and should only be possible to make inside a claim. That would help people who claim near ridges a lot.

I dont like a mobile ladder - unless perhaps a ropeladder later in the world where one could climb trees to see further away or if we get birds - to catch them or steal eggs from nests or whatever else can be found in trees.

wow I remember reading this thread last year...I like Magic's idea of digging the stairs out. I could see it as similar to digging a basement, would need a pickaxe though so still not for noobs

and instead of a lot of animations or teleportation, could right click the stairs to climb(action similar to sitting on a chair) then walk off of the stairs in either direction you choose.
