What is logical to you?
What is logical to me?

Ah, you're questioning universal logic. Interesting approach.. however your philosophy won't be well-defended if all you do is ask questions.

How is fun at the expense of another not logical?
Ever heard of mocking?
Making fun of someone?
I don't like it, but it's logical. People like being the victorous one.

Either way, even if it is for some reason in someone's mind logical.. it's not reasonable, that's why I said reasonable and logical. It's not reasonable to make someone miserable to be happy. It could be logical to them at that moment, but think of it from the other person's perspective. It's not even close to logical in their mind nor eyes. They couldn't see themselves doing the same thing(or they could, then I guess it's logical but again not reasonable.)

When I get murdered, I can't accept what they're doing.
Then again, when someone touches my meat grinder I kill him, destroy all his cupboards, and alt-HF his whole base.
I find it fun, they didn't do anything to me, and then I accept being killed in the first place.
When someone is bored and frustrated he needs something to release his boredom on.
I usually help people when I see them, but my "kill" trigger is very light.

I still don't understand why would ppl need a LOGICAL reason to kill?

Nevertheless, the point of this thread is that It'd be nice to have more than one option. The reason it doesn't appeal to most current HnH players is because they're used to the whole hardcore mode. New players(or some old players as well) would enjoy a softcore mode, that would allow them to practice their strategy or something along those lines. It'd be better for HnH as a whole as well, since it'll bring in new players, and also it's not really that hard for them to pull off.

So basically the strategy goes:
Softcore Server > New Players > New Donations > Better Servers > More Players > More Donations > More Advertisements(or better servers) > More Players > More Donations > Improve game > More Players > More Donations... etc.

It's not really a losing situation no matter how you look at it. Some people like the survival part but hate other people being dicks. I'm not complaining, but it'd be nice to get away from the hatred and play a nice relaxing version of a survival game.

Besides shutting me down and saying that I'm too weak, or that I'm complaining.. try to understand my point of view.

You're right, in most games you don't. However this isn't like most games. It's permanent death, therefore you lose everything on death. So it'd be much easier to accept defeat and not want to quit HnH if there was a reason, and you weren't just getting bullied.

This game is created for the developers to enjoy themselves when they're bored of "enjoying themselves" a different way.
It's not for donations.
And I've met a lot of new players (been one too, obviously) most of them want to be a "fighter" or a "killer".
Those who want to be a farmer develop themselves even more.
Back on topic, though.
I don't dislike the idea because I'm used to hardcore mode.
I never wanted softcore because I simply don't like having no point in the game.
In games with a softcore mode, it's pure grind, no danger, makes the game a chore rather than a fun time.
In games with a hardcore mode you become competitive, watch out all the time, learn how to fight back, etc.
It's simply more fun to most of the people.

Your point is :
I got killed by a raider and lose 10m LP char.
Raider have a reason.
I am happy and I would never think of rage quit.
