FEP's aren't changing so suck it up. jorb/loftar have said before how happy they were with the FEP system

cause the system rules, it just needs some fixes and it perfect.

The FEP system as a whole is good, yes, and I like how different foods give different FEPs etc. But if you read the thread title, I'm not asking for a huge overhaul, just tweaks.

Imagine a guy has been playing the game for a few days. He grabs a bow and some arrows he made earlier, and goes hunting. He brings back a fresh boar, and roasts it on his fire. He should be simply rewarded for the yummy boar meat. He shouldn't be thinking "Damn, this meat only gives me STR FEPs, and STR is already a lot higher than my other attributes". In that case, he would actually be better if he didn't eat the boar. I just think that there's something wrong, when good, well-earned food can actually be bad for your character.

That's why you save it for later. The real problem there is "Damn, that's not worth eating on my table".

Just started playing in world 5, thought I might bump this up again. I'm wandering around, catching fish, eating ants, etcetera, but sadly there's always the "worry" of eating too much of the "wrong" stuff and having one or some of your attributes way higher than the others.. sigh..

What this topic is essentially about is: If you wanna raise your STR, it shouldn't be affected by your INT. Whether you have 100000 INT or 10 INT, the increment from 10 STR to 11 STR should be the same. I would be so happy if this came into play.

Looking deep into my crystal ball ... I see that in the future ... you will not be happy.

man at the start of this world i said fuck it and got like 50 int without even worrying about it. don't worry about it. just don't only raise ONE attribute ALL THE TIME. even later, when you're "balancing" your stats don't even worry about keeping the exactly even. i've got about a 30% spread right now, it's no big deal.

FEP is still broken because it's bottable.

Plain and simple.
