Guard dogs >:L.

Now now now.. We've all heard about the wolf/fox taming into dogs. But I have a twist! :)
So anyway, you tame a wolf/fox/whatever and he becomes a tamed dog, right? Well, there should be some sort of option, so when you have the dog following you right click on your claim stake, and it has the option "Defend" or something. What this does is attack any intruder trespassing or dangerously close to your claim. Setting who can come over without being attacked and who cannot will depend on your village members, and your claim rights. Or maybe their own individual option on who to attack and who to not attack. Now anyway, the level and the attack power of the dog depends on the Q of food you give him, or the food he gets himself. (There should be a ''Hunt'' button when you right click the dog, and it goes and brings back or eats rabbits/foxes.) Or maybe they get better with every animal they kill, kind of like a EXP system. Anywho, this will probably get heavily criticized, so fire away! ;)
Lol why u mad tho?

Wouldn't it add an x amount of lag as they wouldn't disappear like foxes, bears, boars do after the 15 minute period they aren't seen by a human player?

If dogs can be raised, allow the construction of a "dog pen" which acts as a home and a structure for the dog to flee and hide in.

Why hiding?

What if someone snipes your so called guard dog BEFORE they trespass? You gotta think of a backup plan to make sure the dog doesn't flee the area and become lost... It would flee into a well made dog pen, which quickly recovers SHP for it (maybe 0.1 SHP per second).

Would be nice to have more sounds, so if someone is close but not trespassing, you can hear the dog growl and bark, giving you a audio cue to warn people off.

It should be a good idea to make the dog invulnerable to fatal blows until it's hp hits 1, of which the next attack will surely kill it.

Like for example, a 100% health dog taking a sniper shot that takes 90% of it's health shouldn't be that effective. It would be fair to give the animal a chance to flee and hide maybe. Animals have instincts so maybe this "attribute" allows it to survival fatal blows (which is actually a calculation of chance to nullify any damage over it's current hp so long as it's not 1hp, but said animals would end up fleeing to a structure, or away from the attacker.).

I think the dog should be able to bypass signs and roundpole fences... It makes it less exploitable by snipers who wanna barricade themselves or the dog.

That doesnt excuse Irish from making yet another dog thread. They should probably be merged anyways.
