Are There any JNLP clients working?

Postby Whitehead1771 » Wed Nov 10, 2010 5:08 pm

First off can't stand the small res window of basic client, which is 90% of my reason for using custom clients.
Second was perfectly happy using Pacho's client. but now it seems that is over. (hope he updates)
Third after 4 hours of trying to get Gilbertus client to work I am giving up.

well i tried every thing mentioned in the gilbertus thread about fixing the problem. nothing worked. i think it is java problem thought i had 32 bit
now i'm trying to get 64 bit java....not going well after that i'll rework ALL of the crap mentioned in gilbertous thread and see if that works

My run.bat file :"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\java" -Xms256m -Xmx512m -jar haven.jar sh.seatribe.se
pause

the error message :
LOL wow i don't even know how to get you the error message. it won't let me copy / paste it tried taking a screen shot have no idea how to put a pic in the forum....i must be to most fucking retarded pereson ever jesus crist what the fuck is wrong with me. i try downloading java 64 bit from oracle website ...i click the link for 64 bit.....install it....go into control panel .....WTF "Java 32 bit" i can't even seem to get jave 64 bit
and the worst part is....I written programs before Basic V-basic , C++, so why the hell is simply getting this to work so GD hard.

Edit: part of the error message says "Can't load AMD 64-bit .dll on a IA 32-bit platform"
am i correct in thinking this is due to running java 32 bit?

HERE

This is just the updated haven.jar and run.bat. Drop it into your existing gilbertus' install. This is a more "proper" (though really not that different from Mqrius's) update, all the changes from the current client were ported over. Also, I took out the afk timer.

Also included is src.zip for those of you who like to compile from source.

ok finally got java 64 installed and then with above link to replace the files in Haven game folder it now runs. Thank you thank you thank you.
