Mead

I have an idea about alcoholic bewerages, in H&H we have only two : wine and beer but beer needs tankyard made from tin, but you also requiet copper/iron, so why not tankyards could be wooden, clay, ceramic and glass? Of course it will cause tin tankyard useless, so the other one must lower QL and buffs of beer.
I think you want to ask - why you won`t buy metal ?
Becouse metal is rare, and mamy people don`t want to trade it, especialy when they have other valuable items.

H&H is medieval styled game so i have another idea, I don`t know how it call in english but i think it is - mead, a wine with honey.
That could give the same buffs like wine but also will add some food.

mead would be awesome!
give it a slightly long-lasting buff to strenght or constitution or something because mead is bad ass.

also, drinking horns!

Mead should be added into the game for sure, it would give another use to hunny. Also Cider from apples - lets all get drunk!

We already have those, now if only jorb and loftar let us use them for drinking and vice versa glasses and tankards as symbel items. Maybe even make it possible to drink out of those items while they are set on the table?

IMO we should fill the tables with booze, and it should give an additional bonus while depleting .1l of each booze type for every food item eaten.

well with the tidyness bonus now removed I don't see why we cannot have a slot for a drinkable (wine bottle, tea pot) to be added to the table which we can pick up and fill out glasses/tankards/cups without having to leave the table for refills

M-m-m-madskills!
Also, having more fucking uses for apples and honey is awesome. How we have`em only for apple pies and RoBs, which isn`t nice.

Yeh!!! I want mead too... It was suggested so many times already.
It should work similar as wine: just mix honey with water and put it in a barrel.
But here Poland we have different kinds of mead depending on proportions:
1 honey + 3 water - czworniak
1 honey + 2 water - trojniak
1 honey + 1 water - dwojniak
1 honey + 1/2 water - poltorak
The less water you add, the better mead you get but it needs more time to ferment, 'czworniak' needs min. 6 months when 'poltorak' needs up to 10 years.
There could be also some variations, for example you can add hops or herbs.

Oh yes let's add Polish names for sure. -_-

Also the way you suggested it, making mead is too easy, IMO.

There are no English names for those, I wrote them to explain.
And beer has German name, so why mead can't have Polish? ;)

As easy as making wine...
