Schaschlyk

Well, we have Pirozhki, so why not schaschlyk? This is a food from sheep meat, cut into tiny pieces with vegetables, cooked on charcoals)

We have food only from pig, only from cow. Why not to make food made food only from sheep!

+1
for the non-russian players: шашлык /shashlyk is very similar to barbeque. peaces of meat (not necessarily mutton, that's just the original recipe) and vegetables put on shampoors /шампуры (metal pieces, usually narrow blades, sometimes parts of them twisted like a helix) and grilled over ashed wood or coals, not on them ;)
in-game could be an oven-like item, but requiring metal access.

1. craft ungrilled shashlyks from meat and vegetables with reusable shampoors
2. place fuel in the shashlyk maker /мангал, wait for the fuel to coal
3. place shampoors into the shashlyk maker, wait. if waiting too long, you get ashes.
4. either eating the shashlyk or cleaning the ashes gives you the shampoors back for next use.

It actually is.
I`m not sure, though, that it fits into a time of the H&H. But still it is great idea.

AFAIK the shashlyk is a really old recipe, certainly older than the introduction of tea or silk - it wouldn't break history or require some fantastic background story. it's very well-known in the Caucasian mountains and in all of the Middle Asia under different names.

P.S. with a burning offtopic desire I DO WANT also rice and rice recipes, cotton and cabbages, and ceddar trees!
