Masking items VS scroll moving between inventories.

It would be nice if i could temporarily mask an item VS scrolling items to or fro another inventory, say, if i alt-click an item in my inventory the background of that slot would take a slightly red hue or something and it would not be moved if i tried to scroll it.
this would be immensely useful if you had some items in your inventory (keyring, waterflask etc) that you did not want moved while doing stuff like farming.
his should not be saved between sessions of playing, i think.
