Alternative medicine

Flax seeds have been linked to well being and pain relief for all around balanced diets and well being.

Two words: Flax Bread.
No special stats, maybe a little boost over the normal bread, and obviously no hurt pts like bark bread. Maybe a little bit of constitution points, because it's... ya know, good fur ya ind shtuff.

Also: a powder that increases the quality drinks. Flax can be mixed into drinks in rl, maybe a powder that runs ((drink + Flax_powder) /2) or something like that. Bad flax powder lowers drink quality. This would definitely put a good use for flax seeds.

Maybe the powder or bread could restore HHP, what with it being good for you. I'm not gonna gripe over the hhp damage never healing, because there are plenty of Mouflon around my settlement, and enough clovers to choke an auroch. It would just be a good use for flax, and you wouldn't have to look silly with a bandage on your head. I mean, it's bad enough that you got anally molestered by a boar.

All i know is that i've got an inventory full of flax seeds, and while that's not bad, my whole inventory is seed bags. I've got full nature, so 3 seeds per crop. I can only plant so much grass before my mind disintegrates, and dropping the stuff on the ground counts as litter, which from what i've found out, makes the dude VERY unhappy. (In the range of 0 to -100 depending on how much crap you drop) This could be a problem later when happiness and unhappiness play a larger part.

Recap: More use for flax, i'm inundated with 'em.

Gauze is one of 3 ways of using wool (the others are Vapntreyu and Yarn), and is the most popular; if you make q200 flax bread or other stuff - wool utility decreases by 50%, smth like that. Sounds bad, doesn't it?

I like wool, I have nice sheep. I don't want every noobish farmer to have easy way to restore his HP in a short time.

Don't like that idea.

Why have either when swamps are so plentiful. :V

More medicines and herbal treatments and weird porridge-like concoctions that smells like cat droppings, please. And throw in trepanation while you're at it, it's a ancient procedure. It must be good. Otherwise people wouldn't be doing it.

My idea's basically just a small health boost. It could have a cooldown time, and the amount restored could be in proportion to the quality of the flax seed. Gauze heals 30%, this could heal like 3% or so because it would be much more common than gauze. I'm just looking at other ways to use flax, i'm literally surrounded with it, and so much is going to waste.
