Water Q - Critical to new map?

Postby DatOneGuy » Thu Jan 13, 2011 5:47 am

Not sure if this bug was fixed, but I doubt it.

If you get water from a well it does NOT lower the Q of the local spot.

I think more than ever with the emphasis on quality this is very abusable, you can live on hq water with a well and never 'lower' it as intended.

Sarchi is the one who told me about this, but he's too lazy to post it so I'm doing it for him.

I hope it's intended and they keep it this way. You have to build the well to check the quality not to mention it takes longer to get water for it so it's somewhat a hassle.

Lol, I thought that was intended before, never thought to post that as a bug :D

And I agree with rye, there are pros and cons.

I thought it was intended for a while too, but with all these changes, if it wasn't, now's the time to report it.

As much as I hate to admit it, it seems like quality spots should definitely degrade with usage. With how valuable/tradable high quality resources are, making them immediately infinite just screams imbalance towards the owner.
