Natural Rocks to Liftable Boulders

It would be nice if you could turn natural rock into the cellar acquired lift-able boulders. They are convenient to have, and it seems realistic to me. Finally, the convinience is punished with the end of unlimited stones (100 from cellar boulder).
What do people think?

I guess, but only if you need a pickaxe to do it... Otherwise it seems too easy to stock up on stones, especially when hunting.

Do people really have trouble stocking up on stones while hunting? Shore rocks, man, shore rocks.

They are not always available and if you go too far you disengage from combat... I'm not saying that it's a perfect idea but I know that I'd always take a boulder over a permanent stone and place it to serve as a shore rock if there's not one already there. And since there's no way to create permanent stones it could create a shortage of stones for new players.

Worst case, a village would probably give noobs rocks or they can find some in a cave. Having this require pickaxe seems reasonable though.

Hm, I'd rather have those cave-in boulders work as cellar boulders.

Rune stones and quern should be made exclusively from large stones as well, to eliminate them as a means of griefing away people stone supplies. Boulders are not unlimited stone either but I think they are more then 100 so more then one large stone should be made from them when 'Split' option is used. Splitting should require good strength (soak value on the Boulder or mining type "too hard") and be slow so it is not immediately newb accessible, they must chip at first and only Split later.

Only problem is that the cave in boulder should not be liftable or else is not an inconvenience at all. It might in fact be very desirable as a stone source (if your willing to take the risk). Either turn it into a large stone when destroy is completed or yield stone during the destroy process.
