Can you make uncompiled resources available?

I'd like to try my hand at modifying client but don't want to be tied to compiled resources since they're a pain to get out.

tried to git res/ but apparently that's not the name of it?

it's pretty easy to extract them viewtopic.php?f=5&t=5853
