What do you mean? Their taste or the actual process of making them. I find them quite likeable in my bowl of laksa.

Well if we were to implement higher tier fish food through cooking and used fish cakes, I believe that they should be used to compliment certain foods or you could just go with fish balls instead, requiring the fish to be grinded then salted then formed into balls to be fried.

Maybe some sort of recipes like baked salmon or grilling fish with a cast iron pan (it would be damn heavy though haha). Herbs could be added to the dishes to make them higher tiered.

ah yeah, I had a light read through that thread. I think it would add a whole new layer of complexity and most importantly fun for anyone that wants to craft stuff.

A larger variety of fish would be nice, as well as cooking options for them.

We might get this with different water levels in the next map? (if small fishing rowboats/rafts can't happen can we maybe build docks out to deeper water?)
