Allow all liquid in barrels.

In addition to what liquids currently go in barrels: Water, Milk, Honey, Tea, Rennet.

I don't think there'd be any game-breaking problems that would spring up from that.

You can already have water in barrels, but apart from that -- what you say is, to a large extent, true. The problem is that the current system for handing liquids doesn't easily support it, and I haven't yet been able to come up with a good system which would support it. I'll probably try to reform it at some point, but right now, there are more pressing issues. Please excuse me while I go back to implementing quality on items. :)

I doubt that barrels share the tea pot's impressive level of insulation. I just find it hard to imagine a barrel full of hot tea...

Everything else though: yes.
Surprise.

Well... Caffeine is caffeine I suppose.

But ice tea without fruit? Ugh. It wouldn't even be iced, either.

I find it hard to imagine a chest full of 36 eternally piping hot tea pots but hey.

I wouldn't mind it if tea went cold and you had to reheat it by using a teapot full of tea on a lit fire, but until we're at that point I don't really see how there's a difference in the levels of implausibility between the two scenarios.
