New attribute system based on the new LP system

So my idea is that there players should be able to craft items that could be studied either in the current study sheet or a new page, that instead of giving them LP it would work toward increasing a particular attribute. I would suggest that this be added onto of the FEP system so on the study sheet there could be a bar like the FEP on the attribute page.

Example: player can craft a weight with metal and studying the weight would work towards increasing the player’s strength. Or can use parchments to craft a book which when study would increase their intellect, and so forth.

seems to me that there are plenty of items to craft to give you FEP already, you just eat them or use them for your symbel instead of taking up space in your mental inventory

True but it is another way besides food to increase one base stats, granted we all need to eat but feasting on multi tables of food to increase a stat and if your eating a food that gives several different FEP you may not get your desired stat. So you could study something that will increase your attribute on the side of your eating.

In such case, it`d better be tied to curios giving buffs(see that thread for details, should not have sank yet). For instance, Leather Ball being unuseful in terms of LP would increase your agility by one-two points giving it some use. Same applies for Cat Gold and Boar Tusk - PER and STR. That would not replace the whole eat-for-attribute system but just add another opportunity to raise stats.

Seriously, I don't know why people are always coming up with ways to change it. It's very well done and is a great unique system.

Doesn't it have the same issue with grinding as LP did? The increase in your FEP stats is linear as you grind/play/bot.

Except you can't really bot FEPS directly because you only get FEPS from Symbel, food, and hemp.

The only time botting becomes efficient in gaining FEPS is handplowing botting to increase your hunger and even then that doesn't produce nearly a significant advantage as LP botting did.

You can bot FEPs very easily. You can bot farming, collection, planting, and water/digging. None of those tasks are difficult or complicated and can easily be performed with alts. That said, The FEP system is fairly immaculate and produces a supply demand market and usage of goods. Why fix what ain't broke and ain't gonna get broken?

Nothing is perfect. The role of development is never finished as you must always strive for better development.
Looking at a feature being perfect, but still having people deny that means that you are only stating a opinion and not a fact.

So you are saying we should promote botting? Are you sure you want to deal with the consequences of that?
