i had a quick look but im sure this has been suggested,

but an active health bar for animals would make it easier to see how much we've done and how long it'll take?

just a thought

Indeed it would, this is some very useful insight.

Not much of an idea though.

Let's add HP bars to hearthlings to why not. In short... I'm kind of against it.

I like the feeling of unknowing how much HP's your foe has, pvp wise, and though you can typically gauge how much HP an animal has through experience or a wiki.... I like the challenge, even if it is but a minor one, it just adds to the difficulty of the game in general I feel. I like it.
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

Like a 3000HP hearthling running on a rampage?

I like this idea. I think it would make things more exciting (It's almost dead, but so am I! Do I stay or run?!?), and it's not unrealistic. I should be able to tell how beat-up something looks, at least approximately. Also, why NOT add it for hearthlings?

it wouldnt be difficult as it'd be about the same as the actuve health bar we have normally, just for animals etc.
i really dont see why this is a bad idea?
