Tree stump improvement

Postby Flyffywambler » Sat Apr 16, 2011 12:21 pm

I would like to see that treestumps shared the quality of the tree they belonged to. It would be really nice to have 4 extra quality blocks when harvesting a tree.
It would also be nice to find q10+ strange roots.
Ready to wamble!

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

While it was a bit tongue-in-cheek, the idea behind my suggestion was somewhat serious. If we're going to have potential positive results from leaving a bunch of butt-ugly tree stumps around littering the landscape, there should be a negative consequence as well to balance it out. Otherwise, people are going to deforest large swaths of land in the hopes of getting moss or whatever, and we're basically back to the same thing as bucket-grinding for LP.

I would only wish, first village I ever saw was a complete deforestation, not a single tree in sight.

and mine was a mockery of a Ficus shortsightedness.

the strong would still wipe out forests to get the moss or whatever and simply butcher the dryads. meanwhile it's the weak that get killed by the now wrathful dryads.
