Planting flowers.

Similar to how you can now pave with brick (and gold) to liven up the village landscape a bit, and with the introduction of a bunch of new floral items as curiosities (bluebells, edelweiss, snapdragons), you should be able to take flowers and plant them on a tile purely as a cosmetic thing. Lining your areas with flax and poppies is nice, but adding more options (now that we've got the new flowers) would be awesome as well. Planted tiles would look similar to planted flax/poppies now, but with color/appearance differentiation depending on the plants of course. Planting the flower would take one of the item to do, and you'd lose the item with no ability to get it back, so decorating with bluebells and edels would be costly but also rewarding (kind of like paving with gold).

Just trying to think of ways to liven up the scenery since there's very few decorative options and eventually everything just kind of blends together. Colored bricks was a nice touch, but cosmetic plants would be cool too.

Hue, no: ...
- Dropping ground in (Crate,Pot,vase,...,?) and than dropping/planting flowers in them.
- Plowing ground ... etc.
or else, they should go in the cracks in between the tiles. (And they should only last until someone/something walks over them ... of course.)

Screw realism (destroying them by walking over them hurrdurr, want the same for crops maybe?) and screw to make it so complicated. Just let us plant them like we pave. That is tedious enough already.

Use mulberry trees along your path, closest thing to cherry blossoms you currently have.

Yes please, it would make harvesting oh so much easier.

having nothing produced or any seeds to plant would make it "easier" in a sense

but thats more of a malevolent trickster genie "your wish is granted" kind of easier :geek:

I was just about to suggest such a thing myself, so glad someone else beat me to it.

Bump!
