Minor tree change.

- Allow you to dig up saplings that you cannot chop. No refunds.
- Make the last phase of the tree growth grow in a certain time instead of a decay hit.
- Make trees terraform around them even after they finish growing.
- Allow my soldier sword to craft sashimi from filet of fish.

who follows the same routes every day,
who never changes pace,
who does not risk and change the color of his clothes,
who does not speak and does not experience, dies slowly.

Love the first two ideas. The third I'm not sure about, though it would be a nice addition. The last... WTF does that have to do with trees?

I was going to say basically the same thing, wanted someone else to do it first but I did not know you could not chop saplings, every tree I have planted I have been able to chop. What saplings can't?

Fourth idea has nothing to do with trees, was just joking around.

Second one, definitely. Others aren't really needed but wouldn't break anything. Only problem with #3 is it'd basically add another decay factor in the game (basically when should it terraform around it and which tile, etc?).

If grown trees could terraform then most of the grasslands in this game would be terraformed to forest in a couple of weeks. If you want to terraform, keep planting new trees.

Knew there was something I might be overlooking. That could definitely put a crimp in things. Though in rebuttal, Grassland would be the only natural tile seriously effected. I don't recall seeing any trees in the middle of moor or heath. The edges of all three would eventually re-adjust to a natural boundary. (As a note, Swamp, Marsh, and Thicket all have trees randomly scattered through them, though not the quantity Grassland has.)

One potential fix for this would be checking for a balance in the surrounding tiles so a lone tree in the middle of a swamp or grassland has no effect.

Instead of terraforming going through full grown trees, I rather increase radius.
