Forum groups for villages?

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Forum groups for villages?

Postby Cjfidler » Wed Nov 09, 2011 8:08 pm

Of all the changes that could be made to further the Haven and Hearth Experience this is by far the easiest. I mean groups with a place for one or two threads just to keep updates and tabs would be amazing. I know most serious villages probably start their own forum but this would make things so much easier. I'm not sure if anyone else would like to see it but I would.

Its a good idea but it would be just another section to moderate. Plus most villages get each other's MSN's, Skype's, etc. Not to rain on your parade but its not practical at the moment.

Like he said, most villages just use outside forms of communication.

it won't ever happen, use one of the many free forums or host a forum on your own site

Solutions:

1)Skype - http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/home
2)MSN / Windows Live Messenger - http://explore.live.com/messenger
3)E-mail
4)Using these forums, includes private messaging, etc.
5)Using free software to create your own forums/website.
6)Creating a blog.

There are hundreds of ways to use resources available to you rather than to ask to use bandwidth that is paid for to create your own little space. =P

Villages are too ephemeral for their own section of the official forums; recommend getting your own forum so you can customize it to your liking
