ok I been thinking aboutthis for a while, gonna try to keep it as sort as possible.
please let me know what you think.
First off, foragable curios now give temp. bonuses to your Attributes and/or skills. (IE dandelion now gives you a +10 to perception for 30 minutes)
Secondly, Crafted curios now give temp. Learning ability bonuses. (IE straw dolls give a 40% bonus to Learning ability bonuses for 30 minutes)
Thirdly, all activities give 10 points of LP (IE from killing a bear to plowing 1 tile and everything inbetween gives 10 points of LP)
now the curio system works the same way when dealing with int and the "study box"
SO you gain more and more LP by getin better Q of crafted curios and such(so one could have like mondo Learning ability bonuses) so if you have only a 100% bonus learning, you only get 10 points per action. but if you have 1000% you 100 points per action but all curios only last for 30 minutes.
so that's the idea, now nothing is set in stone and all the #'s up there are just simple to make it as simple as possible.
why this new way?
to make death mean something again. this way kills the "alt Army" aspect of the new LP system to a point where now if you want them, your alts are gonna have to be macroed doing stuff and you have to re-fill thier curios every 30 minutes.
