Curiosities made from silk

Postby PaulVanDuk » Wed May 22, 2013 10:17 pm

Currently there aren't any real "consumables" made from silk. For example if I produce silk only for myself at some point I will not need it anymore since I already have ranger set, merchant robe, silk tablecloth and napkin.
I suggest to introduce some curiosities which will require silk as one of ingredients. And as all silk-based items these curiosities should be valuable.

Good idea.
And btw, I think napkins and tablesilks wear out every time you eat an amount of foods.

I like the idea. You could always make silk doilies, silk dolls, silk paintings...

Yes, HnH needs more cutiosities! I also suggest gold and silver curios (always wondered why there weren't any).
Hope you have a great day

napkin and tablecloth are consumables...

Yes, I like the idea, since you can only study 4x4 curios at one time, adding more curiosities can't hurt

Thats why I said "real consumables". Item which you have to replace once per month aren't real consumables.

You don't have to study all of them at once but instead you will have better choice. So, yes, adding more curiosities can't hurt.

I sort of like the idea, but I also really hate the idea. someone who is full industry will never be able to make silk curios, so if silk curios are really nice it means people who are full nature are going to get a huge advantage over them. honestly the nature industry slider is the worst thing in this game, but if its ever removed I'll have no issues with this idea. I'd actually prefer to see curios made from the filaments than the actual cloth though.

the only silk curio idea I can think of:
wispy thread-made from 10 filaments and comparable to a cone cow in LP/weight

And people with full nature have big difficulties with making metal curios. Actually this will stimulate trading.

Exactly.

Any introduction of new curio's would be brilliant both forageables and crafting, I was thinking about this the other day in relation to farming, there should be more curio's craftable from farming produce seeing as it takes up so much of your time!

I'd also like more mushrooms, lol, and food recipes using mushrooms too. :)

Also, apart from silk, golden and silver curiosities there should also be:

- Pure iron curios (wrought and steel too)
- A pearl curio which combines a few pearls into one curio (no one likes refilling the study inventory every hour)
- Gems (actual useful mining curios, though botting will be encouraged so idk)
- Make some rare curios finally better (like a dark heart)
Hope you have a great day
