"Starter Pack"

this may not go over well, but...

Haven and Hearth could sell a starter pack. this pack wouldn't include anything really awesome, just a backpack, a sling, and maybe a boat. this is nothing to established players, and isn't really much past the 2nd day, but I'm sure there would be lots of people who would buy this pack on world starts(or as a new player coming in) just for the convenience.

I played salem for ~2 weeks, it sucked. adding starter packs doesn't make it a financial project, just gets some server costs covered and lets those willing to pay get a little jump on hunting.

Yeah, we've had this discussion before somewhere, I was dead against it for many reasons. The whole point of this game is survival from nothing - it seems silly therefore to start you off with all the mod-cons, lol, it's not about convenience, it's about working hard to survive.

As for the financial side - I don't wish to go into it again but cash shops in hnh is not the way forward imo.

You're still here? I take that back, killing you 5 minutes after you buy your "starter pack" and taking your backpack, sling and boat would be a real time saver. I back your idea.

err i think we solved server cost aka donations
its just noone loves jorb&loftar enough to pay them for their amazing creations (im just being nice about salem even tho it is kind of a downfall from hnh)

yea starter pack is a bad idea but how about letting people to buy idk a "skin" to a bear cape or a hair for charracter?
