Animal and terrains.

Postby puppetlance » Sun Jun 16, 2013 11:51 am

There's a lot of thing's that could be added to this game mostly new animals. new animals would make a lot cooler things in the game such as just seeing new creatures, new items, etc etc...
Here are some of the things i came up with.

- Wolf packs - Traveling in groups of 2-5 they will attack on sight.
- Omega Wolf - Outcast wolf that wonders alone, only attacks when provoked.
- Mountain Lion - Found on the tips of the mountainous terrain, attacks on sight.
- Eagles - rarely seen able to perch near trees(or even on them) and fly over water. Does no attack, simply fly's.
- Dogs - Made by taming and domesticating an Omega Wolf. Should be used for hunting animals such as bunny's and foxes. Can also help in battle.
- BobCats(wild cats) - Cat's the roam around the river edges for fish, or deep in the forest, Do not attack unless provoked.
- raccoon - Same attributes as a rabbit, although only coming out at night and rare, they will make a nice coon-hat to show off

here are just some list of animals that would be nice or cool to see, there are alot more animals that could be added.

New terrains would always be a plus such as
- Tundra icey wasteland
- "beaches" with a new type of tree "palm tree" producing coconuts

I know these things will probably never be made, but putting my ideas out.

Beaches exist.
Birds exist, but don't occur naturally.
And why?

yes even though beaches exist i mean a place with alot of sand and a new type of tree just not a little thing of sand on the edge of a lake.
and new animals for the benefit of new items and things to do.

I think someone posted official wolf sprites a long time ago. Taming wolves into dogs has been suggested already numerous times.

I believe they reasoning posted a long time ago is that they don't want to add new animals until they create better AI. Otherwise, I suppose it'd be the same old slinging animals to death from the safety of your boat.

I'm a hunter with 1 MMS. >:D
I don't think dogs would fit in H&H.
Dunno why

This game is set in the germanic folklore where dogs have been around for thousands of years, of course it fits perectly..

Couple of points...

The forum rules clearly state that suggestion threads aren;t supposed to have "multiple" ideas in them, in other words, no "catch all threads".

Wolves have already been drawn and animated but not put in because Jorb isn't happy with the A.I. or pack A.I. or somesuch. We got to see them on the last day of World 6 at the emerald City end of world party. Same with eagles.

This game is functionally set in Iron Age Germany so if the animal wasn;t there? you probably won;t see it. Same with terrain, there's no tundra or deserts in Germany.

Your fly is unzipped.

Drop eagles... Add falcons because they would be historically accurate and we can start a job called Falconry... imagine hunting rabbits/fox's with a falcon

Nice.
Imagine picking up rabbits, wringing their neck and butchering them in four clicks.
Sounds like the average gamer's choice, right?
