Rabbit Cage and Rabbit breeding

Having an idea that improves early game rabbit hunting and quality would be nice, along with new items or tools to assist in it.

Rabbit Cage(4x4) - A Container made out of boards and sticks, to put live rabbits in. It has a fodder capacity to feed the rabbit(s) in it.

Trap Cage (2x2) - A trapping tool you place in the wilds, by putting vegetables in it (ie: carrots), and placing it far from a village or players, rabbits may get snagged and caught in it. Although leaving it out too long without checking back will likely result in a dead rabbit (starved to death) hence not breedable.
When you put 4 crops into the 2x2 slot, it raises the changes of rabbits being caught in it. The quality of the crops increases the chances faster.

The thing is, this means rabbits SHOULD auto-flee from players wandering around, as to make rabbit catching and breeding a small challenge.

Rabbits can be labeled male or female when caught in the wild, and can be used to breed.
Baby Rabbits, as for the name I looked up on the net, is actually called a "Kitten(?)" or short for kit.

Kits are 1x1 in size and grow to 2x2 similarly to chicks.

Rabbit breeding can make higher quality hide possible, along with new clothing items based on several conditions on how it was raised.

For instance, hares (wild rabbits) can change color on their furs between brown and white, which rabbit clothing items and tools that can be crafted based on said quality and color.

Whilst we don't have seasons in this game for winter and summer seasons, we can use indoors and outdoors to simulate it.

Having a rabbit being bred and raised indoors the entire time will likely change it's fur to white, due to the lack of sunlight.
Having a rabbit bred outside has it's fur turn brown. The time it takes will not be long, maybe a few ingame days for it to change.

The Rabbit Cage is liftable so it's possible to move rabbits inside or outside without them fleeing like normal critters.

So now for the craftables:
- Bunny Slippers requires 2 white rabbit furs, allows agility to be raised over +1.
- Most craftables with rabbit influences Agility.
- White rabbit hat, gloves, and coat grants Agility bonus of +2 at q10 (EDITED). The coat is worn in the same slots as hide cloaks.
- Brown rabbit cap, gloves, and coat grants stealth bonuses of some sort.
- It's possible to have a white vs brown fur stat bonuses. White fur = agility over stealth (+2 agi / +1 stealth), and brown fur = stealth over agility (+2 stealth / +1 agility).

The rabbit hat would look like this:

It would look like a rabbit fur cap of the sorts.

And to OP, bunny slippers already give +2 agility.

Well since you can't increase the quality of the furs you can't get it higher than +2 agility.
Plus I don't see much rabbit being used fully in the game in regards to hats and such.
Higher quality meat means better agility gain from roasting them, or better sausages in general when sausage making.

The point of the thread is to increase the early game resources with rabbits by making them better in quality.

This, I would love to build little rabbit hutches with my Chicken coops. And the chance to spawn a Rabbid Jackalope is awesome.

rabid hackalopes don't fight/attack. its a rabbit on the ground that when you're really lucky turns into a curio when picked up(I've never seen 1 in game).

I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread since it gets suggested so much and there's not much new discussion that can be had. Thanks for attempting to make a suggestion.
