More task related curios

Well, there needs to be different curios. it can be annoying to try and get curios if you do certain jobs that don't generate many, if any, and generally deter villagers from doing such jobs. Foraging is WAY too profitable LP wise. So I'll list some of my ideas. I won't do lp gain or mental weight or any of that crap though, these are ideas.

What: Wonderful Worm.
Task: Apple picking.
Why: Apples are nice for apple pies, which is pretty good food, but apples are so annoying to pick, a curio to hope for would be nice.

What: Fine-Grained Flour.
Task: Flour grinding.
Why: Just one of those tasks that could use a curio to hope for.

What: Malfunctioning Mortar.
Task: Brickwall building.
Why: Please, for those people in the brickwall building stage, it would be a God Send.

What: Broken Bone Arrow
Task: Getting shot at or maybe falling on the ground randomly when shooting at something, only when hitting.
Why: Maybe if you're getting shot at, it would appear in your inventory, or just dropping on the ground when shooting at something. Would only work for bone arrow to not be spammed, and quality formula be something like, Bone arrow softcapped by shooter's sqrt(MM*Survival). Might only work for animals and the like, to not be spammed against alts, though I don't see that to be much of a problem.

What: Flightless feather
Task: Sleeping in a bed
Why: A curio, for when sleeping in a sturdy bed, you have a random chance to get when you log back in. The chance of obtaining should determined by how long you've been sleeping, and is capped at 12 hours.

What: Plighted Pendulum
Task: Steel craftable.
Why: A 1x4 curio made of some steel bars.

What: Blasphemic Bloom
Task: Processing wrought.
Why: Would be nice if it's a bit rare.

What: Drunkards Delight
Task: Drinking beer.
Why: Would give an arguing point to those silly beer drinkers, rather than us sophisticated wine ophianados. It is way too hard to mass beer and fills too much hunger to be used for day to day use, would probably look like bubbles.

Oh yes please, metal making really needs a curio and this one sounds just perfect!

Awesome idea! I want to add a new bed to this:
King Bed, requires silk for sheets, metal for frames and wool to fill the matress. Chances for the curio would also improve when you sleep in a better bed (with this one being the best one).

something to add to these:
What: Ancient Skull
Task: Digging a cellar
Why: makes the boring cellardigging somewhat interresting. Something to hope for during this boring task.

I like all these ideas! Please Jorbtar, consider some of these, if not all!

Not at all, but you end up having to scale the operation up high enough that you produce a rather absurd amount actually.

The "being shot at" one is neat, but abusable unless it's a useless curio (and I really don't particularly want more useless curios).

The apple picking one is kinda prone to bot abuse. The only villages who have large apple farms are mostly botting collection nowadays and don't really need additional curio production from it. Maybe you could get it instead of an apple core for eating apples? That would be a lot harder to abuse without additional effort put into it.

Curios related to steel, yes please.

Here's more!

What: An Ugly Nightmare
Task: Harvest Dream Catcher
Why: You're bound to get one every so often off these, I'd bet.

What: Fanged Thorn
Task: "A Thorn in the Foot" debuff
Why: A reason to have a character with no shoes.

What: Agrobane (a caterpillar of some kind)
Task: Replaces normal yield from harvested crops.
Why: Adds a potential failure to farming, but offers a consolation prize.

What: Trial and Error
Task: Crafting any item
Why: A whammy to crafting items.

What: Foul Slop
Task: Cooking any food.
Why: A whammy for cooking.

What: Red Herring
Task: Something to do with criminal scents
Why: May even be masked as a real scent that leads nowhere, only way to know for sure is to drop it in the study window.

What: Scavenged Parts
Task: Sometimes picked up when destroying something
Why: Makes sense sometimes to have found something useful in the debris.

task: foraging a flotsam
why: it would be a deep gameplay mechanic

Maybe some curios to add to the theme that the item "A Beautiful Dream" entails?

Something like a Warrior's Fury when attacking a person, an Animal Spirit when killing an animal, a Spark of Genius when crafting an item via the craftmenu, a Swelling Pride when construction a construction, Fleeting Fear when taking damage, etc.?
