Would be cool that on the ultra rare chance you find a drynad, you can right click them and get a curio from them. Perhaps "pulsating Sap" would be a good name for it. That way people that explore, have some more incentive to ... explore.

More on "pulsating sap" since drynads are ultra rare, that curio should be like 100k lp, and 1 per drynad.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I've been saying that since last year!

100% Agree, they are pretty pointless otherwise, even if not a curio a gift of some sort, i've always thought high q tree seeds would be appropriate.

It's a good thing that I brought it up then, because people listen to bob dole, they don't listen to people who are not bob dole. That is why your idea was not implemented.

Ahha, all makes sense now. Could you also ask for the ability to craft bear rugs? 8-)

Couldn't you used to follow them through the forest without losing so much stamina? I noticed this world when following them I'd get tired really quick. (Not that following them led you anywhere productive, but atleast it was fun running through the woods randomly without having to drink water constantly.)

Yeah, I'd like to see something interesting occasionally with a Dryad. :D

Don't people who explore already have a lot of incentive to do so? Foraging being as LP-rewarding as it is.

Dryad aren't "ultra rare". I see at least 2 a day when I'm out and about.

Does their spawn depend on civilization level? I used to see them all the time early on now I might see one once a week.
