with overtyped idea (viewtopic.php?p=456932#p456932) of no walls I might as well bring up my old idea~ ladders.
Thefting and snooping around always been a problem~ for that of the snooper.
Ladder were my answer. ladder without logic!
Using a ladder would have large debuff/downside to prevent that hole raid factor~
use the ladder to jump to the other side of the wall~ however you may not have armored/metal/ "Heavy" gear/item's equipped or in your inventory when using ladder.
wood item's/ ropes to make more ladders would be necessary incase player double or triple wall~
Debuffs
The fall debuff would cripple you to a walk speed for 2hours (if not more to prevent over the wall raided and town sitting till buff wears off)~ this buff would not stack and only reset to 30mins if another ladder is used.
75%-90% stat and player lvl cripple debuff (to prevent over the wall UA raided combat)
The ladder would be mainly used for Thieving and snooping, so I see no problem with large debuff's in order to break the games bounds abit.
It can also be used in the reverse to get outside your own town~ I'd say using some kind of softer on the otherside of the wall can prevent debuff's~
But I also still see downsides with a ladder when large powerful towns get made~ semi just pluddering w/e they like and then getting away with the item cuz there in such a large city~
I don't wanna make grab bag thread of idea's (the law of the city/ law of the nation to allow just means of getting back item...)
