A few ideas for chickens

Postby Fluffy » Tue Dec 22, 2009 8:51 pm

First of all, I'd like Chickens to be made domesticable. They would be really easy to tame, nothing near as hard as an auroch or whatever since they don't give nearly as much, you would have to put them in a special coop though. It would be made of five boards and two nuggets of any common metal for chickenwire. Second, chickens should have eggs. If you guys do make chickens drop eggs, you could crack 'em and put them in some sort of container(empty cauldron or cast iron container maybe?) and fry up some eggs, which would add a small but nice FEP boost to constitution or strength. Or even just put the eggs in a boiling cauldron as-is and hard-boil them.

You're more the creative kind, aren't you? Your ideas are gonna revolutionize the devs ideas about what to do with chickens.

Sorry for the sarcasm. Although the suggestions are pretty obvious, I second this motion.

I'd liek to see muffins and carrot cakes get like 2 or 3x FEPs and require eggs in addition to curent ingreadients. They'd be really hard to make but they'd also be really worth it.

Or a CC would give the same current value but be made as a whole cake and sliced into 4 slices that each give the current FEPs.

Muffins would take a wrought baking tin (Made from 2-4 nuggets) and make 6 to a tray. This would fix the unreasonably small oven size and Make baked goods reflect the difficulty involved in procuring butter (and eggs).

If they made the ovens bigger on top of that none the less, I would be more than satisfied.

Full cakes sound like a good idea. 4x the dough requirements and maybe more carrots, but same amount of butter and one or two eggs. Hows that sound?

I like the ideas. The chickens each lay say what 3-5 eggs daily? but you can keep hmm 5 chickens to each cow thats me sayn these are huge freakn chcikens too lol. The baking tins are a good idea but why not make two diffrent size ovens. One with 4slots the other with say 8, 12, 16? It would require a lot more material possibly metal thus why the smaller ovens would be a noobs first choice.

Keep in mind that metal QL also would improve an oven's QL. Not something I'm averse to but I can certianly see making a new type of oven with increased capacity that requires metal for 'shelves'.

Yea true but if you ask me id rather have a bigger oven be it require metal or just bricks. 4 slots isnt close to enough.
