VALHALLA

Postby NaoWhut » Thu Dec 24, 2009 12:30 am

I suggest a battlefield of the dead.

A land where your ancestors all fight
constantly, drink beer, and have similar
stats with the ability to add 200 points
to their stats in whatever manner they
feel appropriate.

You can edit your combat skills by subtracting
or adding points while in the fountain of
beer (or that little pool we start in). the
pool or beer fountain would be a safe haven
with targets you can punch shoot stab etc to
see damage. Everyone should also have equal
health.

Admission of some Numen points for a few hours
in Valhalla?

Thats a good idea, When strong players die their ancestors can still be played and gain stats (but not earn towards your descendants prayer einherjar) They would be in a different world, unable to interact with living players, basically a full on pvp area for dead shits. If you die, you revive at midnight every night in game to fight again!

Now that would be fun :p

Wouldn't put this high on the to-do list but it's actually a pretty cool idea. If your character dies, you can still have a little nostalgic fun with him. For simplicity, I would only allow one character per player be active in Valhalla. You can't play all ten of your dead ancestors, if you've managed to die that many times. If you want to switch characters, you'll be unable to switch again for a week.

It could be cool to have a loss free environment where you guys can play around with the combat system, yes...

This is a surprisingly fun-sounding idea...
I'd almost go so far as to suggest that if you win in battle in Valhalla, your current descendant gets a few Numen points.
Surprise.
