Candelabrum cost too high

If you ask me its unreasonable to expect three wrought iron bars for one of these things, seems a bit excessive considering you can build a good sword with less and with only four times as much you can build a fantastic axe.

Thirded. I really REALLY like the candelabrum, as I dislike working in the dark and they burn for far longer than wood fires, but I'm unlikely to ever craft one as the 3 wrought iron basically represents potentially 3 steel with a lot of effort, or I could trade it for more than a whole bear.

I agree to this as well. I was going to make a satanic ritual assembly in our mine using 5 candelabras and a claim, but we just didn't have the wrought iron to spare.

Fourthed.
I thought it was a typo when I first saw it. Not only is it too much, cast iron was often used for this kind of thing anyway.

The only candelabrum we got we were gifted (thanks clayshire). And we really enjoy them. but i'd like to have more of them. 3 cast iron sounds fine.

You might be right, you might be wrong, on the other hand I've drawn a torch post that will fill essentially the same function and be built for peanuts. Will implement it sooner or later.
