Scent container and decay rates.

So, it appears that with one of the updates, Loftar snuck in scent decay. It is, by no means, a bad development. But we need some flexibility with it. I think a small container (I believe Jorb even has one drawn, he said) to hold scents, and that affects their decay rating. A single scent decays quickly, it was a minor transgression and it only happened the once. As scent number increases, they fade slower, letting larger crimes take longer to be forgotten. This would hopefully promote a more stable relationship between thief and victim, and encourage theft of an item instead of everything of value and the destruction of what isn't. Along with, could we use scents and parchment to make documents? A Writ of Investigation that has as many charges as the scent used making it, but does not expire and cannot be used to summon the criminal. Other items like it.

Not a bad idea per se. Likewise, when food decay is implemented, I would also like the container to be able to determine how well the food should last (including the location of the container -- storing food in a cellar should make it last longer, for instance). It's just not quite obvious yet precisely how I should make that work in some reasonable way (of course, there are ways; I just don't really like the solutions I've thought of so far).

Would different food stuffs be affected by different locations? For example, meat stores ok on the ground floor of a building, bad outside, good in the attic (hang the meat and dry it), and best in the cellar, while a different foodstuff stores horribly in the cellar?

Likewise, when food decay is implemented, <---- Only if FIRST you implement someway to keep food fresh and safe. I don't wanna waste a day of hunting because my food waste after few days.
