This game has, in record time, become un-fucking-playable.

Between the constant lag and excuses, and the terrible default client that takes a shit on all of us without the system compatibility to use a hacked client like Pachos, and the idiotic and deeply flawed scent system, this game is a flaming wagon of crap rolling downhill fast.

Maybe its because i've reached a sort of plateau in production, but i cant push trees higher, cant push coal higher, and have access to what i'm pretty sure are the highest quality points found thus far. I doubt it though. Someone finds better clay and it takes another week to push up to that cap, then what. Hunt more bears inefficiently on default client, while people with 1200x1200 screens and tampered clients basically blow by me, =\

If it was a question of user interface enhancement, id just enhance my interface, but its actually quite game-changing to be able to view twice the area as your opponent in a game like this. Or view the world without buildings or trees, exposing what little cover there is. Or without the highly important darkness mechanic. That argument is pretty fuckin weak though, you shouldn't have to be a coder or know a coder to have the same opportunities everyone else does. And if you make that argument, it's clear you ONLY have access to pachos client, and should probably keep quiet about the topic until you view some of the other clients/hacks available and realize what a disadvantage you are currently playing at. Assume that anything is possible.

Yeah you could get really mad. Or you could realize it's just a game. Give them reason to hate you and never log in to frustrate them (And because you have way better shit to do) while showing up on the forums and IRC just to taunt and piss them off once in a while. =)
