Bracers of the Beast
3 Bear Tooth
3 Boar Tusks
5 Linen Cloth
3 Leather
1 Steel Bar
Effect: Allows you to move at "Walk" speed while lifting an object.
Stats: +5 Strength

Unsure as to what slot(s) it would take up in the equipment screen, but probably two since well... you have two arms~!

What does everyone think? =o

I like it, and the price seems pretty good. My only concern is that it might allow for 5 chests to be carried by a trader at a moderately decent speed. Whether that's a bad thing or not is up for debate though, particularly given there's a time trade-off. That could also be patched by making the walking take stamina.

I like this, just because lifting an urn, that probably weight 5 lbs slows you to a crawl, but a backpack full of steel doesnt.
So this atleast makes things a little easier....

With regards to the various moving speeds, we will most likely be implementing actual weight on various items and objects, which will be limiting the walking speed as compared with the physical attributes of the character (probably Strength, indeed).

Yeah i'd much rather get a 10-25 str bonus from this.

In addition, any plans to make stamina drain vary based off of some sort of stat?

@sonerohi: I don't think so; currently, the stamina drain is rather finely tuned against various events in the game. Rather, I think that the total amount of stamina should probably be affected by some stat -- probably constitution. But I'm not quite sure yet. I might redesign the whole thing instead. ;)

Heh, we actually had that discussion crop up last night in the IRC. Niltrias pointed out that having the max limit of Stamina increase would (most likely) make Tea much more useful (and thus valuable). Unless it heals a certain percentage of the max or something, I guess. Whether that's a good thing or not is up for debate I suppose.
