Flip object

It struck me that nice as it would be to be able to rotate items, it would require re-drawing a lot of these things. However, if the items where merely flipped, then the old art could be re-used painlessly!
Consider the herbalist's bench; if you build it currently, someone working on it would be facing up and left. If you mirrored the art, it would appear to have been rotated 90 degrees so that a worker would face up and right.
The gain from this is mostly visual; it would look nice and allow us to decorate our cabins nicely and break up great masses of perfectly aligned benches.
Hopefully this would eventually include cabins themselves. As it is towns look rather monotonous, and even just putting the door on a different face would be nice.
Surprise.

Well aware. Some objects that I have been sketching on -- chairs, for example -- will be flippable along at least the N-S and W-E dimensions. The simple mirror variant could be done for most everything else with relative ease, and this will probably happen at some point.

Make sure you do upside down, for real cart flipping when we're stumbling home from the ale house late at night :P

And make sure to flip the militia sword the right way..I think it was the sprite for going up (screenwise) that was flipped wrongly (tip pointing down instead of up)
The ones who see things differently.

You can praise them, disagree with them, quote them, disbelieve them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them.
And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
